Russia and Syria are set to make a joint cinematic project on the ancient Syrian city of Palmyra due to be out in 2019.
The shoot for the film will be complete by the end of this year based on a deal recently inked between the Syrian 'Shaghaf' Company and the Russian 'Pro-Line Media'.
A media report said the film is the first joint production by Syria and Russia scheduled for release in 2019.

One of the movie’s producers said in an interview that "the film will be as truthful as possible and the shooting will take place in Syria."
Apart from Russia and Syria, Lebanon, France and a number of other countries are also expected to participate in the project.
The film revolves around the story of a doctor in Russian Republic of Dagestan, whose life was suddenly ruined when his wife flees to Syria taking their little daughters with her.
"The cost of producing the film is 2 million Euro," Producer Andri Segli said, adding that the Syrian side will foot 25 percent of the bill.
Daesh ruined many artifacts in Palmyra and destroyed a number of buildings located in the ancient site.
